The initiative has the goal to raise more awareness for the loneliness of youth. The coordinator of this project is Tom Morssink and the initiative was started via Twentse Noabers. Together with two fellow students, we contributed to this by making a mindmap and finding information in science regarding this subject. After this research, all members had a better understanding of the concept of loneliness which we could come up with suitable interventions. Besides this, we represented the student’s voice.

The mindmap we created to better understand loneliness among youth with the support of scientific articles but also reports on loneliness.

Below, are known initiatives to connect talent in Twente. The reason for this listing is that I have supported keeping talent in Twente by representing the age group of (international) students. In my opinion, it is good to understand the communities of people who would like to improve parts of society. In the meanwhile, many great initiatives now exist and I have listed them below.

What is talent? A person of talent or a group of persons of talent in a field or activity (Source: Merriam-Webster).

In my opinion, a talent or a group of talents is a person or group that has a substantial chance to improve themselves, organizations, or society compared to the situation in which they were absent.

Adolescents (10-17 year)

This is the age group of 10 to 17-year-olds.

(International) young adults

This is the age group of 18 to 25-years-olds.
